The Problem
When LRS first attended the site for the project the whole roof was covered in felt, embedded with stone chippings which needed to be removed before applying LRS FastCoat Pro.
The Challenge
Approx. 160 tonnes of gravel needed to be removed from the roof to reveal a felted surface to which FastCoat Pro could then be applied. This presented several challenges as it was a timely process which increased labour needs.
The Benefits
The FastCoat Pro system offers a fully waterproof covering and a guarantee of up to 25 years. This makes it the ideal solution for commercial roofing. Moreover, the aggregate used in the Traffic Coat allows a non-slip finish to allow total support for foot traffic.

The Solution
Once the felt had been cleared the surface was clean and ready to accept the FastCoat Pro. It was chosen because it was the ideal system to coat this particular roof. As a walkway was also needed over the roof, a section was installed over the completed FastCoat Pro using LRS FastCoat Pro Traffic Coat.
